Access Autotask from Mac / Linux with free software (October 28, 2008 only)

Remember CrossOver?

We wrote about it back in August, as a solution for you to access Autotask from an Internet Explorer-less system like Mac or Linux.

We just learned today that Codeweavers, the company that makes CrossOver, will be giving away CrossOver for free. The catch? The offer is only valid on October 28, 2008 (starting from midnight Central time I believe). The reason? The economy.

Yeah, we don't really get the logic there either. But hey, if you've always wanted to try CrossOver as a way to access Autotask, what better time than now, or more precisely, in about three hours.
